Consumer Unit - Bronze

Dual RCD protection protecting up to 12 circuits. Circuits are managed so as to minimise disruption on tripping - lighting and sockets will be split where possible so that everything does not go off if an RCD trips. If this does occur then there should still be power available in the property.

Consumer Unit - Silver

As for bronze but with the addition of two high integrity circuits on RCBOs. These offer individual RCD protection for important circuits such as smoke alarms and intruder alarms, fridges and freezers etc. If there is a fault on a completely unrelated circuit it will not trip the RCBO. A step up in safety and convenience.

£520 (up to 8 circuits RCD protected and 2 RCBOs)

Consumer Unit - Gold

The ultimate in integrity, protection and convenience, with each circuit protected by its own RCBO. In the event of a problem only the affected circuit will trip leaving all the others intact.
